@schoffer I haven’t really looked into the new ones much - we bought a refubished 27” quad iMac last year, loving it.

via Twitter for Mac in reply to schoffer

@schoffer No, it was me, but your theory was sound. @geoffgauthier’s desk is about 15 feet from mine.

via Twitter for Mac in reply to schoffer

@geoffgauthier Radiating lightning bolts. Equally distasteful.

via Twitter for Mac in reply to shawnblanc

@schoffer Yeah, exaxctly - I’m _that_ kind of optimist.

via Twitter for Mac in reply to schoffer

For me the words optimistically and stupidly are synonyms. For example, today I optimistically didn’t bring a jacket to work.

@geoffgauthier How is Manny being cleared for full-contact practice *not* awesome? He will play again this year, even if only for a shift.

I hate when web services like Google and Twitter announce new features, then roll them out slower than molasses. Tell me *after* I have it.

via Twitter for Mac

@justinw @danielpunkass Devs and mechanics are too forgiving of technical limitations, while users/drivers just want to see what it can do.

via TweetList Pro in reply to justinw

@justinw @danielpunkass I’m more interested in what, say, a race car driver has to say about how a car performs than the mechanic’s thoughts

via TweetList Pro in reply to justinw

@danielpunkass @justinw I’d agree that the *best* devs are usually good reviewers. But they’re the minority by a big margin.

via TweetList Pro

@danielpunkass @justinw Many (but not all) devs are poor writers, and far too accepting of awkward design, especially Windows devs.

via TweetList Pro in reply to danielpunkass

via Twitter for Mac

@chartier What happens when you uncheck the Encrypt backup check box? That’s what I ultimately did.

via Twitter for Mac in reply to chartier

@lexfri @chartier iTunes will tell you the encryption password is wrong if you try to type it while your iPhone is syncing or backing up.

via Twitter for Mac in reply to lexfri

@chartier I dealt with that recently. Make sure you’re not syncing or backing up when you’re typing password, or it will reject it.
