@a4agarwal Fair enough. Impressed in your engagement, which certainly counteracts the negative. Followed!

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to a4agarwal

@a4agarwal Not against marketing! Against knocking competition, particularly when it’s partly subjective. Better to focus on the product.

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to a4agarwal

@a4agarwal If the answer to either question is yes, I can make a lot more use of the service.

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to a4agarwal

@a4agarwal Alternatively, can I use @posterous to post to my WordPress blog without suffering a duplicate content penalty from Google?

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to a4agarwal

@a4agarwal Can @posterous maintain my Google juice to specific posts if I was to switch from a self-hosted WordPress install?

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to a4agarwal

@a4agarwal I’m still a fan of the product, I’m just very turned off by the marketing approach. Careful you’re not doing more harm than good.

via Twitterrific in reply to a4agarwal

@a4agarwal It’s the tone; feels less, “check us out, we have a great product,” and more, “check us out because what you’re using sucks.”

via Twitterrific in reply to a4agarwal

I like @posterous as a platform, but their current negative marketing campaign turns my stomach. It’s actually convincing me not to use them

via TwitterGadget

Angry people don’t need anything specific to make them angry. But if they find something, watch out.

phillryu lack of fast app switching in beejive is driving me crazy right now, I want to see that ugly splash screen vanquished forever

@Seanfunk Yeah, but native iPad apps offer a way better experience. Twitterific is quite good.

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to Seanfunk

@Seanfunk I’ve got that, and Twitterific, and Tweetdeck… Unfortunately Tweetie / Twitter for iPhone isn’t available for iPad yet.

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to Seanfunk

Sorry @pzizz - unsubscribing from your mailing list because all you do is market 3rd party offers on it now.

via Echofon

I wish Twitter allowed you to link to a conversation. If I could, I’d point to the one going on right now between @ryan and @jasonfried.

via Echofon

I can’t believe @echofon Pro on the iPad doesn’t have an email Tweet button. Maybe I’m missing it, but I can’t find it.

via Echofon

@geehoneybee Try which part? So I refreshed, and everything I did was still there.

via Echofon in reply to geehoneybee

@geehoneybee Just now I made a bunch of changes in Google Calendar, saved, then noticed “An error has occurred, please try again”.

via Echofon in reply to geehoneybee

@JimmySlims That, my friend, was an example of reasonableness.

via Echofon

@JimmySlims you make a good point. (see how reasonable I’m being?)

via Twitter for iPhone in reply to JimmySlims

While people may argue with your reasoning, it’s very hard for them to argue with reasonableness.

via Echofon

@taddeis I hear some changes are in store for you. Again. It seems like everything has changed since I talked to you at Tony’s!

via Echofon in reply to taddeis

How long does a stack of paperwork need to sit on your desk completely untouched before it’s safe to assume it will never be needed?

via Echofon

@ttscoff FWIW I love the new avatar. Just the right ratio of creepy to silly.

via Twitterrific in reply to ttscoff

@geehoneybee Yeah, I agree that’s weak sauce.

via Echofon in reply to geehoneybee

@geehoneybee All of the features of iOS4 work in iPhone 4, a subset of those work on 3GS, and a smaller subset work on 3G.

via Echofon in reply to geehoneybee

@geehoneybee Yikes, I don’t know. I’ve never run into that before.

via Echofon in reply to geehoneybee

@geehoneybee Multitasking only works on apps that have implemented it - it’s a new feature that each app developer needs to add.

via Echofon in reply to geehoneybee

reckless Three million iPads sold doesn’t mean there’s a tablet market, it means there’s an iPad market. Other products have a long way to go.

@TechDaddyK Looks like redsn0w’s not ready for 3GS yet. Oh well, eventually. I just like replacing Apple’s notifications.

via Echofon in reply to TechDaddyK

Just had it gently pointed out to me that my profile said I write for downloafsquad.com instead of downloadsquad.com. What a horrifying typo

via web

@TechDaddyK Which jailbreak did you use (or is there even a choice)?

via Twitterrific in reply to TechDaddyK

@geehoneybee Yep. So far, so good. Feels snappy, and I like the new folder and task switching functionality.

via Twitterrific in reply to geehoneybee

@SlvrLambStudios No; we had previously booked my son’s 7th birthday party for that afternoon. Wish I could have made it.

via Echofon in reply to SlvrLambStudios

I’m shocked at how irrelevant Firefox has become for me.

via Echofon

@chartier I agree my opinion isn’t worthless, but I don’t have a right to post it on your popular site just because I want to.

via TweetDeck in reply to chartier

@geehoneybee Your use of “anal” and “nerdalert” in a single tweet has me overwhelmed with possible responses (none that are appropriate).

I love @gruber’s retweets. Letting us laugh at the idiots that troll him is far better than any other response would be.

My eldest son is seven today. That is all.

@chartier There’s an iPhone app called Feeds that is a GReader client that I keep on my phone only because it can delete feeds.

@leemathews Ahh, haha - yeah, dead batteries make modifier keys not work so good.

via Echofon in reply to leemathews

@leemathews Oh wait - Windows key is “Option”, *Shift*-Windows is “Alt”. Maybe that’s the issue?

via Echofon in reply to leemathews

@leemathews I use a Microsoft keyboard (and mouse) every day with my Mac.

via Echofon in reply to leemathews

@leemathews Windows key on a Windows keyboard is the Alt key in Mac OS. And the Alt key on the Windows keyboard is the Command key in OS X.

via Echofon in reply to leemathews

@geehoneybee Thanks, now it’s in my head too!

via Echofon in reply to geehoneybee

Oh me? Can’t complain. Well… I *could* complain, but I won’t.
