Felt horrible this morning waking up - nauseous, splitting headache… had I not looked at my email I probably would have gone back to sleep

Is it wrong that I just used Photo Booth on my Mac to check my hair?

via Twitterrific

Of course, they’re “wrong” from my perspective. Who knows, maybe by capitulating, I’m actually just staying out of the way.

via Twitterrific

Because I do that daily.

via Twitterrific

Is it lazy to capitulate to someone that is wrong when they feel so much more strongly than you do that it’s not worth it to argue?

via Twitterrific

@ginatrapani I think you’d have to be soulless to not think Kate Winslet’s a looker!

Free WiFi at coffee shops means free WiFi, except at Starbucks where there are a bunch of requirements. iPhone tethering via NetShare FTW!

via Twitterrific

@GlenTrainor Hard to compose music at a coffee shop, eh?

via Twitterrific in reply to GlenTrainor

Going to try to get some writing done today - for the first time in a long while. Coffee shop, here I come (in a couple hours).

Holy crap is Fran taking a lot of stuff to sell at the swap meet tomorrow. I’m just glad it will be out of the house.

@SuePolinsky Yikes, that’s scary. How much did he have?

via Twitterrific in reply to SuePolinsky

Just drank a diet coke, despite my “no caffeine” rule. Now to monitor how it affects me.

@GlenTrainor 30 minute hard limit for my meeting.

@sharpener Measuring your words is better than what I typically do, which is to say nothing at all.

My 5 years old loves Here Comes the Sun. It just came up randomly in iTunes, and puts an extra big smile on my face knowing that.

Meetings, meetings, and more meetings. Trying to get my inbox to zero before today’s festivities (meetings) commence.

via Twitterrific

Wednesday evenings are always crazy, and today is crazier than most. 3 hr meeting to cap off the day didn’t help. In a good mood though.

“Re-implement” appears to be the word of the day.

via Twitterrific

@lisamarina Honestly, I don’t know many pizza places in Surrey / Whiterock. I typically default to the phone number I can remember (Panago).

via Twitterrific in reply to lisamarina

@swirlee I find it entertaining that you used the phrase “the rest is icing” when talking about a calorie tracking app

via Twitterrific in reply to swirlee

@lisamarina Wow, what a surprising tweet to get! It’s too late today, but say “hi” to Francesca for me next time you see her!

via Twitterrific in reply to lisamarina

RT @mattcutts Apps should prioritize for user’s experience first and foremost. Think of it as QOS for common tasks & reducing clicks/typing

That’s not to say that what @hotdogsladies is doing now isn’t good; maybe it’s just on a level that misses me.

via Twitterrific

I wish @hotdogsladies would go back to just being himself, instead of all this uber-meta stuff. It’s fine, but he used to be more compelling

Turning in after a low-key birthday day; exactly what I wanted. Tomorrow, b-day cake at the in-laws, which will be fun.

via Twitter for iPhone

Up way too late on the eve of my birthday. Had fun, but I’m going to pay for it tomorrow morning at my son’s early morning soccer game.

@MichaelHyatt Wow, @SixApart certainly doesn’t appear interested in being a good web citizen. Very glad I’m on WordPress. Thx for updating.

Just got a Breaking News Alert email from @cknw, a news radio station in Vancouver, that Beckham is staying with LA Galaxy. Breaking news?

via Twitterrific

So, it’s supposed to be a big surprise that Apple says jailbreaking is illegal? The only surprise is that it didn’t come sooner.

Going to bed last night it felt like a Friday night, with all the drama of the evening behind us. Woke up and it was only Thursday!

via Twitterrific

Mmmm, decaf coffee.

I upgraded three WordPress blogs last night in about 10 minutes. The auto-upgrade functionality that WordPress now has is the bees knees.

Sitting in the board / bored room waiting for a meeting that may or may not actually occur.

Gmail’s new multiple inboxes labs features has made getting my inbox to zero noticeably easier.

via Twitterrific

Feeling rested and looking forward to a suddenly important day. It’s amazing the effect a single email can have.

Just finished watching The Buddy Holly Story on TV, one of my favorite music movies. Gary Busey was amazing as Buddy, really good.

Ugh - my headphones have a blown driver. The clicking sound every time the bass drum beats is driving me batty.

via Twitterrific

@trishussey Thanks for the @vancouversun mention! I’d missed that.

via Twitterrific in reply to trishussey

@trishussey Yes, getting news via Twitter is great, but I’d like to see more companies showing some personality in social media.

via Twitterrific in reply to trishussey

@trishussey Wow, no kidding. Way to “use social media”, Corus. I feel so much closer to CKNW now. /sarcasm

@chartier You make a good point. I’ve been thinking that maybe my SuperDuper! daily backup is enough though…

via Twitterrific in reply to chartier

It seems unwise to stop using a backup tool, but is it time for Time Machine to go?

via Twitterrific

I’ve been using Time Machine since Leopard came out, and never needed it. And I have a bootable full-system backup daily via SuperDuper!

via Twitterrific

I’ve never, ever used Time Machine to find a deleted file, yet my machine bogs down with Time Machine backups multiple times per day.

via Twitterrific

But I can’t see a way to access mobile Gmail Tasks for Google Apps. Strange.
