@shanselman I’ve navigated Excel on a French XP machine that way. Amazing how you can close your eyes and visualize where the menu items are

I don’t understand why the new Jott / Google Sites functionality is supposed to be such a big deal. I didn’t much like Jott when it was Jott

@om I couldn’t agree more. There is something that goes wrong in a very ugly way when combining Gmail IMAP with Apple Mail.

@chartier MediaTemple’s tools are WAY better, DreamHost has marginally better performance, if you can believe it

via Twitterrific in reply to chartier

@chartier Having been on both MediaTemple and DreamHost recently, I can say that they are both just mediocre.

I didn’t think any browser could lure me away from Firefox’s extensions. Then WebKit came along. Holy fast, Batman!

Why do I get so much legitimate email that I couldn’t care less about?

via Twitterrific

Apple, Google - please go in a room together and don’t come out until you’ve fixed my email. kthxbai!

via Twitterrific

Yep - stuff started flowing in as soon as I closed Mail. Weird. My personal Gmail account is working normally in Mail.

via Twitterrific

Interesting - issue may be due to Apple Mail: http://tinyurl.com/2qad9v

When your job relies on email, and Google Apps isn’t delivering it to you in a timely fashion, it’s very hard to do your job.

Finally saw Juno - fantastic film. Laughed constantly for the first two thirds, then it got serious but not too sappy. Good stuff.

@danielpunkass Did restarting mail fix the Groundhog Day effect? That happened to me once and I had to blow away my entire mail database.

@chartier Beer at lunch is nothing to feel weird about - evar.

And on a good day, well my mind is like the country, green wide open. A breath of zen that’s nice on the eyes, lonely, without a prayer.

I’ve got electric light, and I’ve got second sight. I’ve got amazing - powers - of observation.

Man, I haven’t used Vista since I switched to the Mac. I forgot how much I dislike it. XP all the way, baby.

via Twitterrific

Pownce open to all, eh? Meh.

Should be sleeping away my first few hours of being 33. I think that’s what I’ll do now.

I hope MS buys Yahoo. Then maybe their search wouldn’t suck so bad on Microsoft.com. Can you find a driver for their own product there? Nope

Wife to 2 year old son: “Milo, what are you doing?” Milo: “Oh, just being a rude dude with a bad attitude”

Is it just me, or is Gmail in Firefox WAY faster on 10.5.2?

via Twitterrific

I’m back, 10.5.2’d and everything. Miss me?

via Twitterrific

About to reboot and install 10.5.2, wish me luck

via Twitterrific

Now waiting for all the pitying tweets because you can’t get unlimited data plans in Canada… (sigh)

via Twitterrific

My Blackberry is working fine, unfortunately. Oh right, I’m in CANADA. Whee!

via Twitterrific

Man, suddenly I sound like a South Park character…

via Twitterrific

I can’t wait until Firefox 3 is released and extension writers get their shit together to make their extensions 3.0-compatible.

via Twitterrific

@darkmatt3r Amen, brother! Once you go Mac, you’ll never go back, my friend.

Started the week with broken windshield wipers, ended it with the ability to use MarsEdit for Download Squad blogging… that’s a nice trend

@film_girl And yes, I just LOL’d you. LOL’d rhymes with “Rick rolled”… coincidence? I think not.

via Twitterrific in reply to film_girl

@film_girl If you get this working, make sure to let the rest of us know how to set it up!
