Heard at the office today: “You can lick my wiki”. Not sure what it means, but it doesn’t sound good!

So if your domain is with Dreamhost, and you forward your email to Gmail… good luck to you. Grr.

via Twitterrific

According to support ticket with Dreamhost, they’ve been greylisted by Google WRT email, causing massive delays delivering forwarded msgs.

@ chrisgilmer Gmail isn’t just behind on IMAP - I’m getting some messages hours late right now.

After being at home sick for two days, I’m facing some seemingly insurmountable inboxes this morning…

Helping Fran with her new MacBook. Switching isn’t easy, but it’s worth it.

via Twitterrific

Well that was an easy fix - uncheck the “slightly dim this display when using this power source” , then re-enable

via Twitterrific

After upgrading to Leopard, my MBP doesn’t dim the screen when power is removed - well it does, but it immediately fades back to full bright

via Twitterrific

Just me then, okay…

via Twitterrific

is it just me, or is Gmail IMAP flaky as hell?

via Twitterrific

@all Anybody know how to uninstall iCalFix?

via Twitterrific

Especially since it all lives in Outlook PST files right now and I have to fire up Parallels every time I want to access it.

via Twitterrific

I only ever need this old stuff about once every two weeks, but to be able to use Gmail to search it will be pure gold.

via Twitterrific

I love IMAP. Using it now to import over a year’s worth of mail from before we moved to Google Apps.

@chartier Sizzling Keys http://www.yellowmug.com… has the same functionality, even on the free version

via Twitterrific in reply to chartier

Dialing an office phone seems so low-tech. How come I can’t choose a contact from Address Book and initiate a call that way?

via Twitterrific

@chartier Yeah, that happens in every virtual desktop app I’ve tried (Windows or Mac). Basically the UI draws on whichever desktop is active

via Twitterrific in reply to chartier

Leopard = good. Haven’t decided about Spaces yet.

via Twitterrific

You end up with multiple partial messages left over. Messy.

via Twitterrific

Hrm. It looks like Gmail doesn’t clean up after itself when IMAP clients are synchronizing the drafts folder.

via Twitterrific

Why do people ask me whether they should do something, then go ahead and do it before I get a chance to respond?

via Twitterrific

New Twitter pic - it’s the thing to be doing!

via Twitterrific

And yes, I’m late to this party. But I don’t care.

via Twitterrific

Giddy - Leopard arrived this morning. It’s taking all my strength not to install it right this moment. Maybe over lunch?

via Twitterrific

Yes, that sort of thing excites me… sad, but true.

via Twitterrific

I’m giddy with excitement - my personal Gmail account has been upgrade to the new version, and it’s SMOKING fast!

via Twitterrific

@swirlee - I SO know what you mean about that omnipresent unactionable email… they need a name!

via Twitterrific in reply to swirlee

The Google Phone stuff (much like the Open Social) is much ado about nothing, at least for end users.

Preparing for Leopard - creating a bootable external drive backup using SuperDuper

via Twitterrific

I agree with Gruber - DST should be all year long.

via Twitterrific

Amazed at how painful my neck and shoulder are right now. After a rough hockey game, it was the slightest little tweak that has done me in.

via Twitterrific

Wasting the extra hour we in North America get tonight by catching up on my feeds.

via Twitterrific

Eagerly awaiting the *better late than never* copies of Leopard we ordered.

via Twitterrific

Jonesing for Leopard. I want it for the new Mail, but everything else is bonus.

via Twitterrific

Twitterific 3.1 is a very nice update - well worthwhile, even with the ads - or price.
