All I can say is “wow”. Konfabulator is incredible, and has some really gorgeous widgets. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, but I’ve piqued your interest, go get Konfabulated.
Please note: I've moved my active blogging over to a new site, called Jason Clarke - Infinite Bass Line. I will leave this site up indefinitely, but if you're interested in my latest posts please consider visiting the new site.

I’m Konfabulous now myself… running: Battery, Can’t Wait!, Calendar, CompactAirPort, Digital Clock, Gmail Check, Picture Frame, Weather, What To Do, Where Is It, and World Clock Pro. (Phew!)
I’m also debating trying out DesktopX, though (http://draginol.joeuser.com/index.asp?aid=4472). It’s a native Windows toolkit for widgets, predates Konfabulator by three years, is very programmer-centric, and supports VBScript… it sounds like it’s actually a little more powerful.

DesktopX is cool – particularly the DesktopX themes that allow you to totally change the UI of your desktop. I haven’t found one that is usable enough yet that I can replace my standard Windows desktop, but I’ll keep looking.
The same company that makes DesktopX makes WindowBlinds, which I’m a huge fan of.
