Yip, the Vtec Mini is also a dream of mine. Its AWESOME!!! I am already busy building/getting all the stuff for my conversion. But unfortunately it is a LONG and careful process (budget!!) If you look in the Junkmail (especially the Jhb edition) you will find quite a few minis. But you will have to be careful what price you pay. I bought my mini for less than R7000 three years ago. I saw this weekend a mini (same as mine) selling for R30000. Also a good place to look for minis is at mini events. The Mini in this article looks absolutley AWESOME. I would love to build my own…but I don’t know how to go about it. I am in RSA and i don’t know where i could get a Mini (the classic one, not BMW MINI) to begin with. Is there any help for me?

i know what u mean, my dad had four minis when he was younger, i guess its in the blood, im at university and bought a 1974 mini bull nose mini and i dream 4 times a month about those VTEC powerplants being fitted on my 1100cc clubman.. im in love with my old crappy rusty mini.. minis are the coolest cars ever.. getting freeflow exhaust today and adding som stuff to my little baby. anyways.. one day.. ill build one of those super minis…. hope u will too, its nt just buying one, its being there for every little step of the process. i had one dream car which is the Mustang 64-65 but now ive added another one to my list. the MIGHTY MINI!!! cheers dude.
