Of course, there is no real apostrophe in the plural “apostrophes”

How’d you get them to work? I’m running 5.0.4 and they’re coming up as question marks in my blog.

Hi Me,
It’s been awhile since I looked at this, but I think the fix was to uncheck “Escape non-Ascii characters” on the Advanced preferences pane for MacJournal. Let me know if that helps!
