Thanks everyone - I connected from a different network and all is well, so it must have been something local. I've updated the post to reflect my thoughts.

Jason, I just followed up with our network operations team - according to our monitoring systems and logs, there wasn't any kind of widespread outage today. Do you remember what kind of error you saw? I'm wondering if it could have just been an intermittent DNS or routing issue between you and us...

Jason, we're not showing any issues anywhere in the world throughout the last 24 hours. Are you still seeing something? We haven't heard from any of our other million+ customers today...

thanks, drop me a note if you're having issues.

Jason - are you able to connect at this point? I dropped a note to the NewsGator guys to follow up - I didn't notice any downtime today although I'm not sure what time you had the issue (and whether there was actually any downtime or an Internet routing issue.)

Drop me an email if you are still having problems (brad@feld.com) and I'll get you to the top of the support queue.

File this under shameless self-promotion

Try Attensa for Outlook and Attensa Online and let me know what you think. Attensa for Outlook 1.5 is a public beta. You can use it free for 60 days. You can easily import your Newsgator OPML file to get started.
