I too have been looking around to find a recording of the song I heard on the radio once. It was a male singer accompanied by the piano. I thought the announcer said it was a Johnny Nash recording and the album was called “One true love” but I must have mis-heard, because I can’t seem to locate it. It was brilliant and I wish I could locate it. If this rings a bell with anyone, I’d be grateful.

The version I’m most familiar with is from about 10 years ago. It the Holly Cole Trio, a Canadian jazz group featuring Holly Cole singing, and piano and upright bass accompanying her. thanks for the comment. yup I’m juiced about the new sound. I met you brother in law on Sat. at my show. it was cool to meet him.

I love this Johnny Nash song. In fact the whole Johnny Nash album this came off of was great. he was an american soul singing but he went down to Jamaica to record this album. I think in the 60’s. It was before reggae was popular in america and he got all the cats who went on to work with Bob Marley to record on the album . he even covers a bob Marley tune. wicked sounds.
