Engadget is live blogging Steve Jobs’ keynote, where literally minutes ago he announced the Mac Mini as a media center device, complete with included remote control. It’s now running the Intel processor (both single and dual core versions), and the coreduo version claims a more than 5x improvement in speed.

Wow, that’s one hell of a compelling product.

One hell of a compelling product, indeed. But where’s the PVR? Stick one of those in there and I’ll race to be the first in line to get one. Until then, though… I’m gonna hold out.
