Man is it frustrating when people choose to do something that makes my (and other people’s) life difficult, when I know that there’s no good reason for it. I’m not talking about anything specific, mind you, so just go enjoy this article about the six dumbest ways to secure a wireless LAN.

Update: So, yes - I was venting a little bit here. But I think I may have convinced this person that does not exist not to do what they were planning on doing. If a person every existed. (I don’t seem paranoid to you, do I? What’s that noise?!)

I’ve launched a new service called Review My Resume, with an accompanying blog. The service is to provide “sober second look” reviews of resumes, to weed out any of the errors that can cause your resume to be immediately overlooked. These errors are extremely difficult to find for the person writing the resume, and it is always valuable to have a fresh set of eyes to find those hard to spot problems.

Beyond simply reviewing for errors, we will provide tips and suggested copy modifications to optimize the submitted resume. Note that no changes will be done to the resume itself; only a list of suggested changes will be remitted back to the sender.

Accompanying this service will be a work-related blog. The main focus will be optimizing job search techniques and resume hints and tips, but any career related information of value that we find will be post. Have a look!

New Site Template

I’m testing a new site template; I think it’s cleaner. Let me know what you think.
