About Me

I’m a long-time technologist, musician (I play upright bass), ice hockey fan (and recreational player), father of three and devoted husband.

Currently I’m the Manager of Technical Services for Wenco International Mining Systems.

Though I’m definitely not a programmer, I’ve done everything but that in previous roles, including software support, testing, implementations, marketing and project management, all for enterprise-class software packages. I’ve also been writing professionally about software for AOL / Weblogs Inc. at Download Squad for the past five years. During that time I’ve also written for other AOL owned blogs, including The Unofficial Apple Weblog, DIY Life, and I was the lead blogger at The Unofficial Microsoft Weblog before it was absorbed by Download Squad.

I’m happily married, and a proud father of two young boys, and an even younger girl, who both inspire and exhaust me (see below).
