I’m a long-time technologist, one-time musician (I play upright bass), ice hockey fan (and recreational player), father of three and devoted husband.
Currently I’m the Director of Business Development for Wenco International Mining Systems.
Though I’m not a programmer, I’ve done everything but that in previous roles, including software support, testing, implementations, marketing and project management, all for enterprise-class software packages. I recently canceled a contract that I held for the past five years as a paid blogger writing about software for AOL / Weblogs Inc. at Download Squad. During that time I also wrote for other AOL owned blogs, including The Unofficial Apple Weblog, DIY Life, and I was the lead blogger at The Unofficial Microsoft Weblog before it was absorbed by Download Squad.
My writing for Weblogs Inc. slowed my posts here down to a trickle, but I’m excited to revive this site with a focus on technology news, and a particular interest in Apple products and email processes. I’ve become an Apple enthusiast despite my run as a lead blogger for a Microsoft-focused website five years ago.
I’m happily married, and a proud father of two young boys, and an even younger girl, who both inspire and exhaust me (see below).
