Jason Clarke

Hi.

As you’ve gathered, my name is Jason Clarke and this is my site. I’m a long-time technologist, currently working as the Manager of Technical Services for Wenco International Mining Systems.

I’m definitely not a programmer but I’ve done everything but that in previous roles, including software support, testing, implementations, marketing and project management, all for enterprise-class software packages. I’ve also been writing professionally about software for AOL / Weblogs Inc. at Download Squad for the past five years. During that time I’ve also written for other AOL owned blogs, including The Unofficial Apple Weblog, DIY Life, and I was the lead blogger at The Unofficial Microsoft Weblog before it was absorbed by Download Squad.

This site will no longer be updated with new posts, but the existing posts and comments will remain. I felt the need to explore new options for blogging, but didn’t want to abandon the past six years of writing here, including the community that grew around a few surprising posts, like my Eye Twitch post with almost a thousand comments.

I’m happily married, and a proud father of two young boys, and an even younger girl, who both inspire and exhaust me (see below).
